College Credit Plus

Overview

College Credit Plus is a state-funded program that provides an opportunity for college-ready students in grades 7-12 to earn high school and college credit simultaneously. The purpose of this program is to enhance students’ career readiness and postsecondary success at no or limited costs to students and families. To secure your spot, please complete the College Credit Plus Intent Form by April 1, 2024.

Benefits

  • Earn up to 30 college credit hours per academic year, including the summer term.
  • Dual credits count towards both high school and college graduations.
  • Reduces the time and cost of college education.

Eligibility & Requirements

  • Available to students in grades 7-12 who meet college readiness standards.
  • Requires application and admission to a participating college.
  • SAT/ACT scores or a placement test may be required to determine college readiness.
  • Students must meet all deadlines and admission/registration requirements.


CCP Probation/Dismissal Policy

Students and families will be responsible for all course costs if:

  • The student fails the course.
  • The student withdraws from the course after the 14th calendar day following the course start.
  • The student fails to complete the course.
